Folger's

There's a chance of freezing drizzle in the air
The temperature is rising, but still cold
While ice still lies, deceptive, everywhere
Winter has not yet unlocked his hold.
The sun shines out, yet seems to give no heat
No children laugh or play beside the street.
Yet when I think about going outside
I do not care about the dreariness,
Or how the daily drizzle is applied
Onto the already disgusting mess
Atop the sidewalk. No, I think of you
And so get up to face the newborn day
Because I'll have another chance to view
Your happiness, and share it on the way.
