If I am boring, which I think I am
Sometimes, I'd rather I were told of it.
It's quite polite that you maintain the sham,
But honestly, I'd rather you admit
The hard facts of the case. Just tell me straight:
Are you as interested in what I say
As I am? No, no, don't prevaricate,
I'd like to know the answer right away
And truthfully, as much as possible.
Don't hem and haw, or put me off again;
My patience buffer is already full
And I would like to know. Be honest, then,
And tell me: do I bore you? Yes or no?
It's really something that I ought to know.
