Promises to Keep

Nowhere to go is not nothing to do
Nor does a destination make a task.
I've done so many things without a clue
As to where I was - I've had to ask.
But also I have been so many places
Without a thought of what I could do there,
Simply enjoying pondering new spaces
Imagining I could be anywhere
Having no deeds to do. It's glorious,
And yet the best of all is both in one:
A setting which can be euphorious
And something there to do which can be fun.
The worst is neither: immobile, then, and bored,
Exhausting the resources I have stored.
