Seasonal Allergy

Green grass grows under banks of snow
Water under ice is liquid yet
The willow bends before the blow
So when it stops it can reset
Trees without leaves are living still
Certain frogs have antifreeze
A fish possessing lung and gill
Outlasts the drying of the seas
A bear in winter goes to sleep
An owl sleeps both day and night
Until crepuscles slowly creep
And it can wake to dim twilight
From nature I this thought amass
We'll live because this too shall pass.
