Eve

I know it's Christmas Eve
Although I only care
Because others believe
There is some meaning there;
For me it is a day
Of joy and family,
But not in the same way
(Of course it wouldn't be).
Still it's a day I spend
With family around
And think of every friend
For whom it would resound
With meaning. Different means
Can lead to equal scenes.
