CTA

I counted on a bus to get me there.
Such foolish words; so youthfully naïve.
Don't trust a bus to get you anywhere
And never, never should your heart believe
The lies the transit agency will tell.
A bus is unreliable and slow,
And easily delayed - a transit hell
On far more than four wheels. It cannot go
By traffic jams or accidents, but must
Slog through them like the cars that curse them too.
A bus is blown about by every gust
Of transit luck, and detours are like glue:
They stick the buses all together, so
They come in massive packs when they do show.
