The law itself can be unjust
And doing what it says to do
Should not be done on simple trust
Lest we should see the world combust
As it is now; and those who died
Deserved the law, which would entrust
Their fate not to the cops who lied
After committing homicide
But to the courts--which have, of course,
A history that has denied
Justice itself, and favored force.
The law's unjust: then add this flaw
The law won't even follow law.
