Drops

The time goes dully by
As raindrops start to fall
It is not gods who cry
But humans after all
The raindrops are fresh water
While tears are purest salt
Our happiness can totter
Upon the merest fault
Thus weather can betray us
And linger us with woe
While little can allay us
From going with that flow
Except that, joined together
We're stronger than the weather.
